Group Sessions

Collective Sophrology

Sophrology is a brief, powerful therapeutic method that combines techniques from both Western and Eastern traditions, including relaxation, hypnosis, psychoanalysis, yoga, Zen, phenomenology, neurophysiology, and psychology. It was developed by the neuropsychiatrist Alfonso Caycedo, who studied various research streams on altered states of consciousness. The outcome of his work is a unique, accessible, and adaptable mind-body approach: sophrology.

The goal of sophrology is to empower individuals to take an active and autonomous role in managing their daily challenges. Through dynamic relaxation exercises and positive visualizations, it helps you reconnect with your inner resources and develop a sense of balance and control over life's ups and downs.

In group sessions, we typically focus on broad themes that can be personalized to meet the needs of each individual. In the corporate world, for instance, we may explore topics like finding one's place in the workplace, achieving personal goals, or enhancing professional skills.

However, more often than not, our sessions focus on well-being and relaxation—simple yet profound tools for enhancing everyday life. This is the aspect of sophrology that I would love to share with you.

How does a group session work ?

Our session lasts between 1 to 1.5 hours, and we'll meet in a quiet, peaceful space where you have enough room to lie comfortably on the floor* or, if you prefer, settle into a cozy armchair.

Throughout the session, I'll guide you through discussions, simple and playful exercises, and visualizations designed to help you experience the positive effects of deep relaxation. This is a chance for you to explore how relaxation can transform your state of mind and body, bringing you closer to a sense of inner calm and balance.

The only question now is: Are you ready?

*If you choose to lie on the floor, please bring a mat, cushion, and blanket for your comfort.

Wheel of the Year Activity

In our fast-paced modern societies, it's easy to forget the importance of taking a step back and reconnecting with ourselves and the natural world around us. We are constantly moving, distracted by the demands of daily life, and often overlook the need to pause and breathe.

Yet, it's in our very nature to be in harmony with something greater—Nature itself, with its cycles and teachings. From the earliest civilizations to today, humans have always lived in rhythm with the Earth. This deep connection can be seen in ancient drawings on cave walls, the construction of pyramids, and manuscripts passed down through the ages. Our modern disconnection from this rhythm is relatively recent in human history.

Today, there is growing recognition of the mental and physical health benefits that come from reconnecting with Nature: forest bathing, hiking, eating nourishing foods, and rediscovering the medicinal properties of forgotten herbs. Whether we are aware of it or not, we are profoundly linked to the Earth, and it's time to honor that connection and rediscover the wisdom Nature has to offer.

For me, this connection has been a part of my life since childhood. I've always felt a deep bond with the Earth, sensing both its resources and its profound teachings. Over the years, this instinct has led me to study the relationship between ancient civilizations and Nature—how they observed and honored the Earth's cycles, energies, and wisdom.

My journey has brought me to explore the beliefs, customs, and rituals of various cultures, all of which share a common thread: a reverence for the Earth and its teachings. These cultures lived in alignment with the perpetual cycles of life, death, and rebirth, honoring the energies of the seasons, celebrating the meaning of the year's milestones, and venerating deities connected to Nature. I have explored the symbolism of the five elements and the interconnectedness of the vegetal, mineral, and animal worlds, along with the rich meanings of archaic symbols, the beliefs in mythical beings and spirits.

This ongoing exploration of humanity's deep connection to the Earth has become a central part of my work and personal journey, guiding me as I share these teachings with others. It's a path that brings us back to the wisdom of the Earth, reminding us that by reconnecting with Nature, we can rediscover balance, harmony, and well-being.

Session procedures

We will also do a guided meditation at each celebration, traveling in a modified state of confidence, looking for the resonances of these energies within us, in our present.

It is likely that your visualizations surprise you and reconnect with your inner self, your inner child, your allied animals, your intimate strengths, your serenity... and your joy.

Finally, to anchor these energies in matter, we will create an energy creation, or/ and a ritual to bring with you to make them live in your daily life. Finally, an oracle draw will close the morning, so that you can leave with guidance until the next celebration.

No special faculty is required if it is not your good mood.

The workshop is open to a group of 3-10 people.
